Do I have to have Public Liability Insurance to Trade? Yes, it is a requirement of Meanwood Market’s overall insurance that each trader has a valid insurance policy. If you’re yet to obtain insurance it’s simple and often cost effective via Simply Business or Direct Line.
When will I hear if my application has been successful? Markets are usually curated on a month by month basis for new applications. If you have applied for more than one date, I will email to confirm these in one go. The latest you will find out is 4-6 weeks before the event date.
Is there any power on site? There is very limited power available for a maximum of 2 traders at an additional cost of £10 per market.
Is there car parking available for traders? We are lucky enough to have a car park at the back of the shopping precinct and plenty of on street parking nearby.
Do I have to have a card reader or can I take cash? This is something that is completely up to you. Most customers will want to pay by card, however there is a cash machine available at the precinct for cash payments.
Once you’re familiar with the above, submit an application below.
Leah will be in touch via email with the success of your application.
